Mumsnet

When organising a Mumsnet meet up you should take the same basic precautions you would when meeting anyone from the internet - make sure you meet in a public place and that others know where you are going. You can also meet up with other mums on your Mumsnet Local page. Find your Local page here.

dh is going to see a bloke who has a resturant in Hove and I said he has to ask if the bloke will do us a deal

2shoes Sat 26-Sep-09 12:01:56

MABS Sat 26-Sep-09 15:39:11

lets try for a date shall we at least? venue will be easy.

Only dates saturday afternoon/eve i am free between now and Christmas are 5 and 19 Dec. Anyone else?

2shoes Sat 26-Sep-09 18:26:00

the 5th is the saturday after the london meet up, so might be a problem for child care for those going to that. I can do either(although only a later one on the 5th as dd is at respite and I pick her up at 3.30)

2shoes Sat 26-Sep-09 18:30:50

I have sent a link to this thread to custy/mamazon/pesto/vindaloo/donkeyderby and magalegs
I only have their fb or email contact

Oh hello there See 2shoes, I do listen to you sometimes grin

Of the two, 19th would be better for me. So I'm a bit more human after the birth!!

TheMoistWorldOfSeptimusQuench Sun 27-Sep-09 02:05:37

Following a very gracious invitation from 2shoes, I'm in - if that's Ok with everyone?

Although I have no idea what I'll be doing on any given date in December yet (quite impressed by MABS forward planning skills).

Mamazon Sun 27-Sep-09 11:04:16

19th would be better for me as im organising the MN xmas do and i think my brain will need time out prior to me contemplating anything near sintilating conversation.

but i will come along to whichever is chosen by the majority.....you'll just have to talk very slowly at me

MABS Sun 27-Sep-09 15:50:58

am happy for you all to do a diff date without me, just my diary is so rammed that i thought we should try to get something in really.

ErikaMaye Sun 27-Sep-09 16:06:37

2shoes Sun 27-Sep-09 16:41:57

Hi all, hope you don't think I'm butting in but 2shoes has spoken and invited me along. Would be lovely to meet some more local SN mums

ErikaMaye Sun 27-Sep-09 19:53:49

Will it be okay for me to bring the baby along?

Pollyanna Sun 27-Sep-09 19:57:19

HI all, I can't do the 5th (dh's 40th!), but can do any other saturday.

I have an idea for the venue - Jamie's - you can reserve a table upstairs and it is reasonably prices and italian (so should suit all).

2shoes Sun 27-Sep-09 19:58:09

can you get wine there???

MABS Sun 27-Sep-09 19:59:46

lovely donkey derby, be good to meet you. Great idea re Jamies Pollyanna - shall we go for 19th then? 2shoes - what do you think? x

PestoLovelyMonster Sun 27-Sep-09 20:01:44

I shall make a huge effort to be there smile
