SW London - any mums out there? I'm new and would like to meet a few other moms in the area

Hi there

I've just recently signed up with mumsnet and am keen to meet any other moms in the South West area. I scrolled down the topics board and noticed that there was a meet-up in March. Please could you let me know if there are any others scheduled?

Many thanks

Hi Tayroo, I'm in Sutton/surrey boarders so probably quite close.

I went to a meet up at Godstone farm( do you know of it? It's a excellent day out) a while ago and it was really nice putting a face to all the nicknames. Hopefully I'll go to the next one too.

BTW Welcome to MN

I don't know if the March one happened (mind you, I had such a crap March that it could have happened and completely passed me by!

So let's get a new one happening anyway.

I vote for Saturday night (I know someone can't make it, but I think the rest of us can). Forgive me for who I forget, but off the top of my head ...

Don't worry fisil - I'm in Battersea but haven't been to any of the big Richmond get togethers (thought they might be just for the Middlesex posse). I had a coffee with swanny last half term which was nice and we were hoping to get together again in the easter hols as she works during term time. Must email her.

tayroo - I think Richmond is a positive hotbed of mumsnetters, I bet you will find someone just down the road from you!

Hi Tayroo, I AM just down the road from you in East Sheen (v close to Mortlake station).

We must do another meetup. Welcome to mumsnet btw

oh yes, I stood you up on that one - sorry darling. Anyone is welcome wherever they live - it's just annoying to watch some people walk two paces home when you have a train journey or two! But well worth it.

OK, what about we go for Richmond - is that easy to get to for everyone? And does anyone know Richmond enough to recommend a Strada type place?

Pick your Saturday:
24th April
1st May (bank holiday w/end, so probably not a good idea)
8th May
15th May
22nd May

Hi everyone,

the 8th May is good for me - I may bring one of my close friends who's also recently had a baby. Strada's a good place to go. Any other suggestions of a restaurant from the Richmond moms?

lol

8th May good for me - count me in.

Went to a nice place which was just like Strada really in Richmond the other week, can't remember what it;s called tho. That's useful isn't it? Will try and remember.

Oooh, Richmond!! Was hoping this one would be nearer me, (Wimbledon-ish) but as I have pulled out of a few meet-ups and am dying to meet you all, will make the trek! Just make it near public transport (really near, I have an appalling sense of direction!) 8th May sounds good to me.

This one looks like a biggie!
