I know roisin is in Barrow, but that could hardly be further from you and still in the Lakes!

Katherine is in Cumbria too I think and I'm sure there's somebody else in Cumbria too. I'm in Ribble Valley - SE of Lancaster, but could manage a S Cumbria meet-up. Kendal maybe?

chicaguapa, chatee, my parents live in Carlisle and used to live in Cockermouth. Coming up in the summer, will drop you a line then. Susanmt is also down for the Keswick Convention about then.
Katherine's mum is in the Lakes - Katherine herself is Peak District I think.
Chatee, did you make the local papers or something? My mind is boggling (Tullie House? Bitz Park? Sands Centre??)
I reall envy Lakeland mumsnetters. I love Cumbria, rain (mostly) or shine.

Chicaguapa - I'm sometimes up that way as my sister lives in Threlkeld (her fiancee is from Cockermouth.

I used to live in Keswick years ago, so know the area well. My parents are in Kendal now so we're still regular visitors to Cumbria.

We're up there this weekend, but lots of family so will be busy. Next time we're heading your way I'll try to remember to get in touch, & will also keep an eye out for any meetups
