When organising a Mumsnet meet up you should take the same basic precautions you would when meeting anyone from the internet - make sure you meet in a public place and that others know where you are going. You can also meet up with other mums on your Mumsnet Local page. Find your Local page here.

Further to the post in chat, would anyone fancy meeting up at Attingham Park during the summer holidays? Unfortunately I can't make it until after or on the 15th which is next Wednesday, but can do any day after that.

Let me know if you fancy it smile

Yay, me & thee so far, Lis!

mangomadness Wed 08-Aug-12 20:39:22

I'd love to, but DD will only be 12 weeks, would this be a problem? She has her jabs in the morning so a lovely walk will do her good! No worries if you think she's too young for us to come.

LissiesAWenlockLass Wed 08-Aug-12 20:44:48

No, that wouldn't be an issue. We can help you keep her entertained!

Tis a possibility, depending on the exact date.

MrsMeow Wed 08-Aug-12 21:23:23

Not a problem at all mango, as long as you don't mind us cooing over her!

Are any dates better than others for anyone? Flisspaps when is good for you? If you're on FB and search Attingham Park, there's a link to click to download a 'kids go free' voucher which can be used in all national trust properties, if I remember correctly smile

MrsMeow Thu 09-Aug-12 10:17:09

Ah bums, sorry people I can't do the 15th - I've got tickets booked for something and I'd forgotten all about them sad

Is the 16th any good for anyone? That's the Thursday (week today)

LissiesAWenlockLass Thu 09-Aug-12 10:29:33

I can do the 16th, can't do the 17th though.

MrsMeow Thu 09-Aug-12 11:01:30

Looked on the website and they do a picnic on the Thursday - bring your own food, but there's fun & games put on etc.

karatekimmi Thu 09-Aug-12 11:25:52

Can I come? I can do the 16th and will bring my (currently very grizzerly) 10 week old! I need to double check my diary though.

How will I know who you (all) are?

MrsMeow Thu 09-Aug-12 11:36:47

The more the merrier! Kimmi, we will all be wearing judgey pants, hoiked up to just under the bosom grin

Oh maaaaaan! I wanna come! Boo to working full time. Next time, I'm there I promise. Just give me enough warning to book a day off, like wink

mangomadness Thu 09-Aug-12 11:44:35

I can do the 16th, will pack DH and basset off to walk around

nearlythereyet Thu 09-Aug-12 11:46:53

Not sure I can get the 16th off, but if I can I might join you with my 2 year old. Still not been to Attingham!

LissiesAWenlockLass Thu 09-Aug-12 12:24:52

I will catching the bus there, so can meet any public transporters in town!

Mymumsdaughter Thu 09-Aug-12 18:39:59

Sorry can't do ,16th have fun ladies!

mangomadness Thu 09-Aug-12 23:09:17

Oh, I should warn you mention (after reading some threads on here) that I'm breastfeeding and at the moment DD's favourite thing is to have a break and tell me all about it by cooing loudly!

golemmings Thu 09-Aug-12 23:32:56

Kiddie, gimme a shout if you want a lift. I think you're not far from me.

golemmings Fri 10-Aug-12 04:54:14

Lissie, sorry, that lift offer was to you... Bloody autocorrect.
