Right, am determined to make this happen !

Due to requests from the newly pregnant GeorginaA (many congrats me dearie ) and enthusiasm from Sassy, I am trying to get this meet-up organised ! Last time the idea sort of fizzled out.

From the previous thread it would seem that these mumsnetters are in our area...

ummmmmmmm anyone else ??!

Let's get our heads together. First things first how old are your children ? Mine are 11,9 and 14 months. It would be much better for me if we were to do it outside of school hols as then I don't have to drag my biggies around with me

Has anyone got any special requests for venues or particular days ? I would rather it was a Mon or Tues, could poss do a Friday too.

I would prefer half term (last week of October I believe?) as that's a week I'll be desperate to fill anyway My ds is 2.5yrs

Any day suits me depending on time, Thursday or Friday would be better though, outside of half term, I would rather not drag the biggies with me either - I'd never get the chance to talk as they'd want to be in on the conversations rather than playing. BTW mine are 9, 6 & 5wks

Huzzah, WSM!

My dd is 12 months. I am a teacher but only work Mon and Fri so other days are ok, or any day in half term except the Mon cos we're at Center Parcs.

Congrats to Georgina!

Georgina it looks like you're outvoted for half term week So Mon and Fri are out for Sassy. It looks like a Thursday may well be our best bet. How are people fixed for the upcoming thursdays ? Where shall we meet ?

LOL... that's okay ) Thursdays are good - am preferably but not the end of the world if pm.

Venues - I'm not sure what would be best for the age ranges...

pm's are pretty poor for me too as I have to be at the school to collect DS2 for 3.30pm.

I'm in Gloucester so not too far away. Don't really feel up to socialising much atm due to being 27 weeks pg and really busy at work, as well as having building work done on our house. However, come January/ february I'd love to meet up with you all (pleeasse- worried about lack of adult contact already). can you fit another (not very small) one in? And am I being really cheeky by saying I'd like to join in but not yet? (sorry)

Not cheeky at all! (seeing as it'll probably be Jan/Feb before we get our act together at this rate anyway )

We must think of something indoors that we can get a wide range of kids in and still manage to chat...
