BBC World Service media request: anecdotes about your parents

Hello,

We've had a request from Kev Core, a producer at the BBC World Service working on a new programme called The Response, which gives listeners the chance to broadcast their stories by sending in messages recorded on their phones.

For a forthcoming episode, Kev is looking for anyone with an interesting anecdote about their parents. If you have any memorable stories about how you've been influenced by your parents -- be they funny, sad, inspiring -- feel free to dictate them into your phone and send via email to worldservice.letters@bbc.co.uk or kevin.core@bbc.co.uk as soon as you can.

We at MNHQ don't have any further details about this and Kev won't necessarily be monitoring the thread, so if you have any questions please do contact him directly.

Thanks,
MNHQ
