Hello,

We've had a request for case study participants from BBC Online.

They're writing an article about parents' experiences of talking about their children at work.

They are looking for parents who have found it to be detrimental to their career - because people make the assumption that they're not committed to the job - or who have gone to some lengths NOT to mention their children, even when it made their life difficult, for fear of how they'd be perceived.

Deadline Thursday 23 June 2016

If you'd like to share your experience with the BBC or have any questions about the article, please contact philippa.goodrich@bbc.co.uk direct.

We at MNHQ don't have any further details about this and the BBC won't necessarily be monitoring this thread, so if you have any questions about the article please contact the journalist directly. (If you have any comments or observations for MNHQ, do please fire away and report your post so that our press team will be shown it!)

Thanks,
MNHQ
