Hello,

We've had a request for case study participants from BBC Cymru Wales

They're doing a piece on the story about the councillor who thinks teachers should be allowed to travel to France to watch Euro Championship matches during term time, using unpaid leave if necessary.

They are looking for a parent who opposes this idea – maybe someone who’d like to draw comparisons with the crackdown on parents taking children out of school during term time.

If you'd like to share your experience with BBC Cymru Wales or have any questions about the piece, please contact alys.lewis@bbc.co.uk direct.

We at MNHQ don't have any further details about this and Alys Lewis won't necessarily be monitoring this thread, so if you have any questions about the article please contact the journalist directly. (If you have any comments or observations for MNHQ, do please fire away and report your post so that our press team will be shown it!)

Thanks,
MNHQ
