I am writing and article about how women surfers want to be portrayed within the media and i need opinions! I'm not sure if anyone has seen the Roxy Pro Biarritz Promo www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCji6TiJjbE but it has caused quite a stir within the surfing world. People have been stating that female surfers are being portrayed as sex toys and that the promo may aswell be 'soft porn'. I would like to know what you think and also where do you think the line is between being a beautiful athlete and participating in an ad like this and it being exploitative.
Thank you for your time!
