HI mums-to-be,

We’re in the early stages of making a new documentary series for Channel 4 about pregnancy and parenting following the stories of a diverse range of parents-to-be, all of whom may experience some level of prejudice when they say they’re pregnant and then eventually become parents or who may have or challenges to face when expecting a baby. For example, parents who have a high BMI, are older, have a disability or who may feel like the are the 'odd ones out' in a antenatal class.

We want the series to challenge misconceptions, celebrate triumphs and capabilities as well as exploring the day to day realities of each parent. Overall we hope to provide a unique insight into becoming a mother for a wide range of parents who traditionally face challenges during their pregnancies and beyond.

We would like to speak to mums-to-be who feel they have challenges to face during pregnancy and would like to share their story and tell us what we should be including and looking out for. There is no obligation to take part in the series and all calls are informal and confidential, but if you would like to explore the series further with us and are due between July and October, we would be delighted.

If you are a mum-to-be or know someone who is, or want to find out more information about the series please call Dominique on 020 7424 7701 or email
