Victory television are making a one-off documentary for ITV1, provisionally entitled ‘Small Families’.

The documentary will follow a number of families where all or one family member has restricted growth. We want to explore different family dynamics like being a new mum or parenting teenagers, but also just everyday family life. We aim to make a film that is both warm and honest – a film with a heart, but which also explores some of the real issues affecting small people. This programme will provide both an insight into the world of restricted growth and a perspective on our average sized world.

We are looking to speak to people about the realities of living as a little person, to help fully inform our research.
