Dear Parent/Carer
My name is Ruby George; I am a third year student at Bath Spa University studying Education. Part of my degree requires me to complete a dissertation, which is an independent academic study; I am writing to ask you to take part in this study.
I wish to gain an understanding of what ‘quality childcare’ means to parents, new parents and parents-to-be. I also wish to explore how women’s employment is promoted; looking at how the current government supports working parents, and exploring their future plans.
In order to do this, I need to gain parents perspectives on this subject matter; in the form of a questionnaire.
All data collected in the study will remain confidential and anonymous and all of information collected will be used for research purposes only. You have the right to withdraw at any time throughout the course of the study, this includes post publication.
Please notify me if you would like a copy of the completed dissertation and we can make arrangements.
If you have any queries, feel free to ask me anything.
