Are you a single parent housesharer? Looking for case studies for positive national newspaper feature

Hi,
I'm a longstanding Mumsnetter and also a freelance journalist. I'm looking for a case study for a feature about single parent housesharers which will be in a 'quality' national newspaper's property section.

To me, pairing up with another lone parent to share the rent and possibly some childcare, afford a bigger place, have some grown-up company once the kids are in bed etc. seems to be a brilliant idea. I'm sure it's not without it's stressful moments e.g. when the two families' children realise it's not just an extended sleepover and they actually have to live with each other! I'd cover how people have found another family to share with, house rules, how it has worked, and pros and cons.

I'd love to hear from you if you are doing this, whether you had a large house and decided to rent some rooms to another lone parent after your separation or you sought somewhere completely new to live with the other family.

The paper would send the photographer over to you at a time to suit you. If you aren't willing to be photographed, I'd still welcome your thoughts and experiences.

Please PM me in the first instance.
