I received this from my parent carer forum and thought that it might be of interest to some of you. I have just lazily cut and pasted the e-mail.

CSIE has launched a brief online survey into parental experiences of choosing a school for a disabled child. It can be accessed at www.smart-survey.co.uk/v.asp?i=62786lwgmj and takes around 5 minutes to complete.

We want to find out how much real choice parents have at the moment, in different parts of the country, and how parents feel about the options available to them. We are particularly interested in the experiences of parents of disabled children who want a mainstream education for their child.

We are keen to hear from parents, young people, education practitioners, other professionals, disabled people and their allies, and representatives of the voluntary sector. Having a large number of responses will help us tremendously so please complete this survey and tell others about it too. Hearing from a wide range of people will help us confirm what needs to change and also help us to lobby for change and try to make change happen.

We look forward to receiving your views, and those of others on the Parent Partnership Network. The survey will remain open until Friday 30 November.

Many thanks in anticipation of your help.
