Hello Everyone at Mumsnet,

Although I am not technically a Mum (Im a 23 year old Engineering Student) I am very excited to have the opportunity to ask for your help.

I am the project leader of a group of Masters Degree students who have been tasked with creating an innovative product that could be sold to the mass market in the U.K.

Our idea is to create a Child Safe Knife block. Seems simple really but why would we want to do that i hear you ask! :D

So that even if your kids decide they are going to climb onto the kitchen surfaces (which im sure some of them do :D ) they wont be able to take any knives out of the block and they definitely wont have a chance to get their little hands on a sharp knife.

The part we really need your help with is the Marketing Survey. If you could be so kind as to fill in our survey at:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dFJUeG9ZV0w5bDRVNXdYZVgxcFJCcWc6MQ

We would be very grateful for your input, if you have any other questions dont hesitate!
You can put them in the box in the end or reply to us on here, we will do our best to answer them when we can.

Thank you in advance!

William.
