AUDITION FOR NATIVITY 2 “A SONG FOR CHRISTMAS” AND BE IN WITH THE CHANCE TO STAR IN NATIVITY 3 AND PERFORM YOUR SONG LIVE AT THE UK PREMIERE
This half term, in advance of the release of NATIVITY 2 in cinemas November 23, we will be travelling the UK hosting festive singing competitions up and down the country searching for the best act to perform at the star-studded UK premiere in London!
We will be joined along the way by special guests from NATIVITY 2, music experts and Pudsey the bear to help us judge!
DATES & LOCATIONS
Saturday 27th October BIRMINGHAM Bull Ring 10.30am – 4.30pm
Tuesday 30th October MANCHESTER Arndale Mall 10.30am – 4.30pm
Thursday 1st November NEWCASTLE Metrocentre 10.30am – 4.30pm
Saturday 3rd November LONDON Bluewater 10.30am – 4.30pm
We are looking for choirs of up to 12 children or individuals (up to 16 years old) to perform their favourite Christmas songs at the above locations. The winners will then compete in the final in London on the 3rd November to be in with a chance of walking the carpet with the stars and performing live at the premiere!
If you have a specific song in mind then please bring the music with you, but don’t worry if you haven’t as we will have some for you to choose from on the day. If you don’t fancy singing, come along and have a special Nativity 2 photo taken and see our special judge Pudsey the bear.
NATIVITY 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to 2009’s Christmas blockbuster NATIVITY. Written and directed by Debbie Isitt, starring Marc Wootton as the madcap Mr Poppy, Pam Ferris as the heart-warming Head teacher and Jason Watkins as the competitive Gordon Shakespeare. NATIVITY 2 introduces David Tennant (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Doctor Who) as the overanxious supply teacher, Joanna Page (Gavin and Stacey) as his pregnant wife Mrs Peterson and the hilarious Jessica Hynes (Twenty Twelve) as Welsh diva Angel Matthews.
