Bath Time ALERT Moniter

for my AS level Systems and Control project I have decided to make a bath monitor with both child and adult settings that will monitor both depth the depth and temperature of the water and alert you via buzzers that it has reached a certain level. The bath monitor would be in the shape of a desert island and could float and be used as a toy in the bath. Please tell me what you think of this idea and feel free to leave any comments concerning it smile

Ooooh, I would like to hear a buzzing telling me the bath is about to over-flow, or is half full even, as the DC don't need deep baths.

I think I'd like to know if it's too hot hmm. But really, I wouldn't rely on a gadget to tell me. I think a gadget like this could make you lazy and have more accidents, but as an AS level project, it sounds like a great idea. smile

I think the temperature is a good idea but I don't mind about the depth.

I've reported the thread to HQ to get it moved elsewhere.

This is the bloggers' section. You might find a better response on one of the other boards.

I LOVE this idea! We've lived in a couple of houses where the bath fills v quickly and we've had a couple of v v near misses. I also like the idea of it looking fun too. Sorry to have nothing more constructive to add!
