Have you been through a divorce or relationship separation since 1996?
If so, are you willing to be interviewed in confidence about your experience of settling matters out of court?
We are researchers at the University of Exeter and the University of Kent, looking for people who are willing to be interviewed by phone about their experience of mediation, solicitor negotiation or collaborative law to reach an agreement about children and/or financial issues. Telephone Interviews take around 30 minutes, and we offer a £10 voucher (Amazon or M&S).
More details of the study can be found here: http://socialsciences.exeter.ac.uk/law/research/frs/researchprojects-/mappingpathstofamilyjustice
or email j.smithson@exeter.ac.uk
Thanks!

Bumping this, we are still looking for interviewees (we need 90 altogether), we are now offering £20 for people prepared to tell us about their experience of mediation, solicitor negotiation or collaborative law.
We want to hear about a whole range of opinions and experiences of these processes - good and bad. What worked, what didn't work, what would you like to have been done differently?

We have had a great response to our project and have now conducted 74 interviews with people who used solicitor negotiations, mediation or collaborative law to try to resolve matters after the breakdown of their relationship.
As the response from women has been so high we now need a further 16 men to complete our study. The telephone interviews are anonymous and we pay a a £20 voucher to everyone we interview so if you are or know a man who fits the criteria above and who would be prepared to speak to one of our researchers in confidence then please call Jan Ewing on 07971 008931 / e-mail J.Ewing@kent.ac.uk
