BBC 'Share, Take Care'

Has your teenager or child had a bad experience as a result of too much information being shared on a website?

Have they been bullied, or are they worried about what their peers think of them online?

Are you concerned that they may put too many personal details or photos about themselves on websites like Facebook or Twitter and you would like some advice on how to help them to protect their online reputation?

Or maybe you’d like to offer some advice to other parents about this.

We would really like to hear from parents who have been affected by the issue of 'oversharing' and are prepared to speak about it on BBC Radio (5Live) and possibly on local radio too.

If you have a story that you think might be of interest to us please contact me at richard.chadwick@bbc.co.uk. At this stage, we're looking for stories but there is no obligation to take part.

It's important to say that we want to encourage a positive experience of using social media and these stories are just to highlight some of the pitfalls - and to help parents give advice to their children when using the internet.

Thank you.

Richard
