I am conducting some research with parents, grandparents and childminders of children under 7 years of age around TV programmes and TV brands. What do their children like to watch and why? Are these the same programmes that the parents preferred the children watched? What TV brands do you trust and why? We are looking to hold a focus group of 8-10 people in London and are looking for people who would be willing to attend a 2 hour session group to discuss these issues.

For successful participants we will pay a fee of £30 for their attendance.

We also have an online survey which we are looking for people to complete.

If you are willing and interested in attending this then please email me a.goodwin@winmarketing.co.uk

My youngest is just too old for this.

But I was wondering what purpose/s the research will be used for.

And if you can link the on-line version here, you might get a higher strike rate for that part.

London is quite a large area grin - whereabouts in London will the group take place?

The survey can be completed online:

Unfortunately there is no payment for this, but we are interested in hearing your views.

The purpose is to consider and understand what makes children's TV programmes successful - what people like and what they don't like.

Thank you for your time
Regards
Ann

The focus group is in Central London, near Euston/St Pancras stations

I have completed the survey but got rather frustrated by the 'why do you say that?' items.... why did I say that? Because it's what I think!

Also, there was no way of distinguishing between programmes preferred by my eldest and by my youngest.
