Hi - please can someone recommend a good low carb cook book? I'm doing well, keeping to under 25g carbs and have lost weight but am getting fed up with my recipes!!

Also any biscuit recipes with coconut flour would be welcome!!

Thanks

No cookbook I'm aware of but a good few blogs around. There are loads of paleo cookbooks which has reasonable crossover with low carb.

We discovered this recently - v low carb and addictive! www.ruled.me/buffalo-chicken-jalapeno-popper-casserole/

I wilt a bag of spinach in after adding the bacon.

Bumping for more book recommendations please.
Amazon has confused me senseless. Many books are reviewed negatively for including carbs or for being low fat.

Atkins?

They do a cook book linked with the new Atkins new you book.

Both are a great read and more logic to it than just stick to 25g a day.

Part of it is how to increase your intake.

I can recommend The Idiot Proof Diet Cookbook and also a vegetarian one written by Rose Elliott called The Low Carb Vegetarian Diet Cookbook (I think).

And if you go to the Bootcamp board, you'll find the recipe thread stickied there - some lovely recipes on it.

I am back to low carb dieting after some success a couple of years ago - then lapsing. I saw your thread and signed up for the first time in my life. I have a LOT of weight to loose, e.g. My first target is get below 20 st by the time I go to America in April. I find that I fail when I don't plan/prepare - so am looking for recipes I can use in a menu plan of things I will enjoy eating rather than just because it is a low carb alternative.
LaFlottes - don't be paying out for cookbooks - there are lots of brilliant websites out there just waiting to help you out. For starters I Suggest //www.kalynskitchen.com. I lost 13lbs in 10 days on the South Beach Diet. I would have sold my soul for an apple by the end of those first two weeks though. Another: //www.alldayidreamaboutfood.com even has a recipe for low carb bread - I would be happy with a burger per month, or pizza etc etc. Both these sites offer choices that you can make for the whole family. Hope this helps
