Low-carb diets

Anyone else started their new year low carbing early?

I felt so utterly disgusted with myself that I started on Monday (was originally going to be the traditional 2nd Jan slot!). I've low carbed several times before but weight has been creeping on for a while now, not just over Christmas - the last couple of weeks have just accelerated it! I don't think I feel ready to weigh. I'm going to measure my waist every week or so (I'm an apple so that's where most weight sits on me) as I know roughly what measurement I need to be to be in the healthy range. I reckon I need to lose 1.5 stones though. Bugger.

Yes me! and I am struggling big time today, feel really hungry and fed up. I knew if I left it I would not start on the 2nd, I would wait until Monday etc etc then never start.
Good luck with it, I have double your amount to lose.

Me! I put on 7lb over the festive period! I started Monday as I feel so gross but the many, many Christmas chocolates are looking directly at me.

I have signed up for the bootcamp starting on the 19th but trying to 'lean in' to it now so this week we are changing breakfasts, next week it will be lunches then come to bootcamp we only need to change dinners and to be honest have already started to reduce or eliminate carbs there too then it is not too much of a shock to the system, mostly for my family's benefit - we are all carb junkies

Am having a ball looking at recipes and planning meals
