I'm stuck and I'm fed up and I want some fruit

I've got one more stone to go, but I've been stuck at this weight since New Year. Wobble up a couple of pounds, knuckle down and wibble back down a couple of pounds.

I've mostly enjoyed my food on this WOE, but I'm getting hacked off that I can't get to the end, that I'm not even staying steady, but wobbling up and down.

I'm soooo close to giving up. What's the point of going without, if I'm not losing weight?

I want some fruit. Ah I crave one of those crunchy apples from the fruit bowl, or that gorgeous glossy orange.

It's mad! Never mind the chocolate - it's the fruit I want.

Just have some and get back on track tomorrow. It may not even be enough carbs to affect your weight loss.

When I low carb I miss fruit, I hardly ever eat or when I'm not LCing though! I think otwls the freshness of it - LC can be sort of 'cloying' IMO.

Nuts are only OK if you can stop eating them!

Most of my wobbles seem to come at times when we have nuts in the house.

Ok, I am not a low carb expert by any means but I would have thought if you want an apple then surely just have one? I thought the whole point of it being a 'way of eating' rather than a 'diet' is that you don't feel deprived etc. fair enough you don't want to be eating white pasta and chocolate all the time, but surely the odd apple to satisfy your fruit craving won't hurt?

Have some low carb fruit - maybe berries & cream?

I have 3 Brazil nuts a day. They feel like a treat, are relatively low carb and have health benefits. smile

What are you eating, SixImpossible? Have you fallen into the trap of not eating enough? It's easy to do! If you want fruit and nuts, you can have them - just small amounts.

For some of us if we have a bit we then have a lot. If you get out of the habit of having trigger/fattening foods it's best to stay out of it - hence at least to start no fruit etc. That sounds silly to those people who could eat one banana rather than 6 at once but plenty of people cannot stop at 1 whether it's chocolate or the whole hand of bananas or 4 apples rather than one etc.

I'm looking forward to the summer, when - hopefully! - I will have strawberries and raspberries in my garden. I'm sure they don't count if you pick them yourself.

If you've stalled would it be worth doing something else for a couple of weeks (low cal, Slimfast etc) and then going back to boot camp to give your body a bit of a break?

Buy some unflavoured no additives gelatin and have a tablespoon in some green tea, hot water (or coffee if you have coffee).

If you are really feeling fed up and feel you have to have one sweet potato with loads of butter (not fruit).
