Hello Beyond
I'm going to charge my fitbit and start using it again tomorrow Blush
I'm aiming for a minimum of 5000 steps a day

Can I join? First time low carbing, but am a regular fitbit user. Currently average between 10,000 and 15,000 steps per day. Just ran/walked Race for Life, which gave me most of today's 10,000 step target!

Hi Jemima - I used to walk a lot but not recently. Hopefully this will motivate me.
Yours is a high target for me to aim at.

readyforno2 was on the lc chat thread last week and posted asking if anyone wanted to be in a friend group for fitbit. I'm not sure how it works, but I've sent her/him a pm about this thread.

I'm a keen fitbitter Grin - usually clock up between 15000- 20000 a day. Are we going to do this here or befriend each other on a fitbit community group?

I'd rather do it here, fitbits in my real name.

Struggled to get my steps yesterday so have to make more of an effort to spread them out today (i can only do short bursts of small distances, so have to do lots of them).

I'm a Fitbitter too! Usually manage to get my 10,000 in at least five days a week but I'm a runner too and this really helps.

So what's the plan? Are we just going to report our daily aims and target? I'm going for 10,000 today after a rubbish day yesterday.

Thats my plan :)
Half way to my 2000 already as i got dressed this morning to do the school run and then popped in to see a friend after

Wow there are some high step counts here. I'm currently up to 6543 (that is not made up) and unlikely to increase much today as I'm lazing on the sofa Grin

Hi, I'd like to join in please. Managed my 10000 target yesterday, which I was pleased with, as the day started with a four hour drive to Cumbria for work. Long walk after work. Going to try for a lunchtime walk today.

12,264 yesterday, despite very stiff legs from Race for Life at the weekend.

Hi, can I join the chat too?
I've dug my fitbit out of my bag and it is charging as we speak. I've been very lax and not used it for a couple of months. Blush
I aim for 10,000 steps per day, maybe 15,000 on a good day.
If anyone wants to become friends on fitbit so we can do challenges, I am happy to PM my e-mail address. I have enjoyed doing the challenges, but only have two friends and one of those does 20-30,000 steps per day and I can never keep up. Shock

There are some great step counts. I've done better today and reached 9426. I might march around the back garden to reach my 10,000 Grin

Statelychangers · 17/05/2016 18:52

Wombat I aim for 15,000 a day/100000 a week. I struggle to hit that at the weekend though - unless we walk to the pub Wink

That's a fantastic amount. I once had a sunday where I only had 600 steps Blush. I was hungover and never moved off the sofa Grin

I've had plenty of those too Wombat - most steps I've ever done in a day was 35k - I ached lots!

Blimey, 35k? You must have walked the length of the country Stately Grin
I have reached over 11k today but did a 2 mile walk before work and 20 mins in my lunch break. Well pleased
