Low-carb bootcamp

When the dc go back to school, can we start an Autumn Term Bootcamp, and not wait for Xmas?

I can sympathise! I've gone off track this evening. Still only about 30gr carb but I'm so carb sensitive it could have an impact. Had a really crappy week and I'm so tired and fed up I just lost my fight this evening. I would certainly like to feel there was some continued support thread even if it wasn't a full scale BC.

I think I've got a severe case of middle-of-the-summer-holidays-and-the-dc-are-on-the-verge-of-starting-WW3-and-I'm-fed-up-of-being-the-United-Nations-and-I-need-a-break-itis.

And I think I've put on weight. I do not want to weigh myself Sad

Oh yes, I hear you. It's so hard to keep on the straight and narrow over the holidays. I bet the United Nations peacekeepers eat loads of carbs Grin

Tomorrow my well-meaning mum is taking me and DD out for afternoon tea for our birthday treat. That'll be wall to wall carbs then. And she'll want to see me tucking in heartily.

I'd definitely be up for a new bootcamp or a kick-up-the-arse new term support thread.

Me too. I have just seen a photo of myself and it's not pretty. Autumn bootcamp definitely necessary. So how do we start one then?

I don't think I'll be able to participate as I've only got half a pound to go to my goal weight so I'll be strictly on maintenance by then. Grin

I hope I get there my Monday Miffy but I never get to goal by the last weigh in of Bootcamp, it's always the day after! I'll have been bootcamping for 14 months by then so it'll be a real challenge. I'm looking forward to being able to eat carbier stuff such as apples and sweet potato, and reintroducing rice will make life much easier.

Well done stunt I hope you will still hang around, I think people need your explanations of certain aspects of LCing, you are very good at explaining things and telling us why we are doing what we are doing.
