I loath mosquitos for the same reason. The only hot countries that I know of where I didn't get bitten were windy places where the pesky blighters can't fly. I can def recommend Fuerteventura. It's not long haul I know but nice and breezy.

Depends what you mean by longhaul. I don't remember being bitten at all in Hawaii (bitten to death in the Maldives though).

I also went to Hawaii and remained bite free wheras everywhere else I've been I am usually the Mosquito's meal of choice

Bali
Borneo - coast only -eg Kota Kinanbalu
Laos
look for places with either high altitude or moving water (ie on the coast) - mozzies are not keen on either.

South america - although Argentina might not be a great bet at the moment but Chile or Equador would be fine.

I got bitten by a mosquito in the UK last year on a country walk.

Mosquitoes tend to live in humid, wet, water abundant environments, look for anywhere that is extremely cold or desert areas with not much standing water.

Stay away from anywhere that is tropical with sub-humid climate.

Anywhere with strong winds, good, their little wings don't like it.
