DP and I are finally getting married in October this year. We are totally confused as to where to go on honeymoon and I wondered, in the same way the lovely ladies in Style & Beauty help MNers find clothes, whether you could help me find a honeymoon??

We have the following criteria..

1. No more than £1500 per person
2. Flying from London
3. Must have hot (swimming pool) weather for 1st 2 weeks in October
4. Ideally be all inclusive
5. Not just a 'beach' holiday but also near some cities so we can do stuff.

Current thought is Mexico. Would love to combine it with New York for a few days but think that will be far too pricey for us. Absolutely don't want to go to the Maldives, seems far too boring!

So ladies, work your magic!

Congrats on the wedding, sorry you didn't have any takers on this thread though.
If this were me, I would try Audley travel, they have a really good website with inspiration. Having looked on their website just now though, I think it may be too pricey. But still could be used for inspiration? Note that they don't recommend Mexico in October, each country has a squiggle, a one tick or a 2 ticks for each month.
Might Sri Lanka be an option? I've not been myself but once got a quote (!) for a fab sounding trip through Kuoni, staying in 3/4 locations (beach, elephants, tea etc ) with a private driver. Food excluded but inexpensive. And the good thing about multi centre wold be you could choose some cheaper accommodation and spend a few nights somewhere spectacular.
