HAPPY New Years Resolutions...

As a single parent.. these are my positive new years resolutions... anymore anyone?

1. To remind myself that I am brilliant for bringing my DS up on my own and he is a happy happy little chappie
   
2. To ignore any condescending people who look down on me as a single parent
   
3. That one happy parent is better than two miserable arguing ones
   
4. That I am doing my best and it IS good enough!!

I'd def echo your sentiments!Plus,when it comes to men,it's my rules,my life,I'm an independent woman with my own brain still very much intact,thank you very much, and if you're looking for a doormat,you've come to the wrong door!lol(my ex would've run had he seen that:-).Basically,I ain't going for any more dominant men who wants to suck all life out of me(which is probably why I'm datin a guy almost 10 years my jr,lol)

Lol,well,it sure has it's ups and downs I must say.It's an ego boost first,then you develop feelings and think"Oh dear!",and you become so obsessed with your looks it's unbeliavable(well,how many fit women are there in their 20's who don't have to worry about lines,who's bodies hasn't given birth etc,but hey,as an "older" woman you know a thing or two they don't,and,we are a little bit more secure and comfortable with ourselves,aren't we?Guess that's the plus point:-)
