Spoke to DH about CSA

I had CSA on the phone today and when they asked how many nights he has them I said 2. He has them more like 3. I texted him and said how many nights is he going to say and he said 7 out of 14. How is this going to affect me? I'm on IS and child tax, surely they'll take money from me if he says this?

But is it true? Does he have them 7 out of 14? If not just tell them he's not telling the truth and have some way of recording how many nights he has them so you can prove this.

Yes he has them near enough this long. It was only supposed to be at first until the boys were settled, but I left on March 7th. I'll have them more as time goes on I hope. I didn't know if telling the CSA this would affect my money? Anyway, I'll just have to wait and see.

But surly you have to be honest? otherwise it is fraud claiming something you are not entiltled too?

I don't know how it all works to be honest is there not somewhere on line with rules?

yes I'll be honest scoobydoo, just meant I'll have them more if it'll affect me. He wants them this much and it works well for the kids but I can't afford to survive if I lose money. I'd never try to cheat.

Ulysees the reason the CSA want to know how many nights he has them is because he will get a maintenance reduction of 1/7th for evey night he has them, the reduction wont effect you as you are on IS and will only receive £10 per week anyway.
