How do you cope with the lack of sleep??

My darling fiancé and father of my 2 children died in April. We are coping ok but now I'm really struggling with getting up all night and really early with the kids every single night. The kids are 1 and 3. My 3 year old is ok most nights and sleeps well but she's up early before 6. My one year old wakes several times and she is up around 7. Does anyone have any tips on how to either get the one year old to sleep through and/or how to stop myself from feeling so tired all the time. All I do is drink coffee coffee coffee. It doesn't work for me anymore 😏

I'm sorry I don't have any experience but didn't want to read and run. So sorry for your loss Flowers

Have you considered sleep training of any kind (can be gentle!) Worked wonders for my son but not for everyone I know.

I'm so sorry for your loss.
I can't help much with the night waking thing, my 1 year old is the same. I resisted going to bed earlier myself for such a long time, felt it was a waste of an evening to just go to bed but now I'm in bed by 9:30 most nights and feel so much better for it.
It wont be forever but you can't reason with a 1 year old to make them sleep so for me this is the path of least resistance.

The only way I coped is having her in the bed with me. My h left when youngest was 4 months old. She now does 7-11/12/1 in her own bed & the rest of the night in with me. 5 year old joins us on occasion too (missing daddy)
So sorry for your loss Flowers
