Where you go and work there for 2 weeks ???

My local store offers it as far as I know, and I just wondered if anyone on here had ever done it.

Yeah I remember reading a leaflet for it when I was still with Xp and thought it seemed like a good idea.

They are running it in March so I am going to ring up and enquire. It says you get free meals and travel costs but the problem I'd have is childcare so will have to see if they could help with that for the 2 weeks.

If you speak to your lone parent adviser about the childcare, I'm sure they will be able to arrange finance for it. Only thing would be finding the childminder or nursery place. Which hopefully your local childcare link could advise on.

Nutty if your line is still down tomorrow I will ask my loneparent adviser about it for you. I'm sure it should be the same for most areas with regards to getting back into work. I'm sure they also help you with regards interview clothing and bits like that too.

There are a number of large organisations who run such schemes. They are meant for you to see if you like the organisation, how you cope with leaving the kids and to build up your self confidence again at being someone other than mum. You have nothing to lose and good discounts if you get offered a job. Go for it
