Got piles from hell and almost flu (not flu as can get out of bed). Gaaaaah!! 2.5 hours sleep last night.

That rubbish about picking a £20 note up has a lot to answer for. I had flu once. Slept for 2 days, drove a hundred miles, slept through Christmas and hen for a week. You do what you've got to do.

Lots of fluids, ibruprofen and paracetamol, and germoloid cream for your farmer giles (the one with the red writing on the box, not yellow)

Definitely can be flu. When I had it I had to also care for ds who had pneumonia and Dd who was newborn. It was hell so you have my utmost sympathy.

Try and have as much to drink as you can and make sure you get a wee bit something sugary and salty too or try dioralyte. Even if you're not puking I've found it can help.

Thank you everyone. I feel worse today! Argh. About to dope myself up on all the lovely medicines and have a hot drink.

I have suppositories and ointment from the doc for the piles, they are sooooo bad. I hope it kicks in soon. So horrible. I will make a note of the germaloids for future!

Can't imagine that haudyer, that is awful. So hard.

DS is away to his childminder so need to try and get some sleep.
