Today I had to go to a foodbank. don't misunderstand I am enormously greatful for their help...But at 52 with 20 years of working it just feels like a kick in the teeth. Sbxh not paying maintenance. ..Moses abroad and not working. And housing benefit stopped because apparently I earn too much on my part time wage...been checked..I do but to pay £850 rent add bills im behind with not only no surplace but not enough to pay for petrol to go to work... council can't help with housing. So this is it...trying to get more work or stop altogether. I feel so alone with my dc's and no real ti support. Just wanted to get it off my chest.

Flowers for you.

It sounds really difficult. Do you have a possibility of getting the extra hours you need?

I have no words of wisdom but I really feel for you and hope things improve for you soon

I know different councils do different things so aplogise of you have already seen them
