I've done some googling but am no closer to finding the answer to this - so wondered if anyone can help.

My xp pays £62 a week towards our DD. any idea how much that means he earns? I'm trying to work out if he's telling them about all of his income or not.

Unless you have cast iron evidence of what he is earning getting the CSA to change a payment will be a herculean effort

I know, you're right. He gets loads of different bonus's and commission payments. It would be impossible. I'm just angry! Hah.

If he has no other children then £62 will be 15% of his wage.

Thats £930 a week.

Considering around 85% of csa fathers pay £5 a week which is to be shared between all the children he has, i would say your getting a good deal more than most

Depends if you are with CSA or CMS. WHat others receive is irrelevant. You can ask them to check with HMRC. If you're with CMS then they do that anyway.

That is based on a salary of about £26K a year. I dunno where the £930 a week comes from.

Yes it does. His pension contributions will also have an impact.

Belle please could you elaborate a bit on the pensions thing? Sorry to butt in and hijack. I'm currently trying to work out if I pay enough. I used the gov calculator and it says I am but XH is constantly skint and I'm not sure how.

Pension contributions are taken off aren't they? I'm unsure nabootique. Just read the entire AIBU thread about NRP who pay the minimum and it's left me feeling very angry and sad!

That's the one that made me think about it a bit more, teaching, that thread. I would definitely pay half childcare if there were any costs, which there aren't, which seemed to be the main issue on that thread.
