So I don't know how to start a thread but here it goes

I have a 2 year old and been married 3 years after so much verbal controlling abuse in marriage and lastly being beaten up I have decided I need to get the hell out or else I will get out dead.

I live in Bromley South London and currently work part time.. I have a morgage with patner but I have decided my safety would mean I have to leave the house. It's a joint morgage so at some point if he sells I will get my money back for now I just need to fresh start with my self and daughter

Looking for a house is really hard with low income but I have been paying so I really would love a another single mum who we can rent a house or who has a house so my self and child can move into

We would both help each other and our kids would grow together. Really the company would also be great as starting afresh alone is so so had and one thing that has kept me with husband for too long

I just need to get out and I feel like I have this plan wish I could just find a single mum now

Are you planning to stay in London ? I live in the South West and am looking for someone with a DD to share my house from April 2015. My DD is 3.

I am planning to start a proper search in January.

Hello Mena, sorry to hear about your situation, you sound like you've made the right decision to get out.

There was another house share thread and I think one if the posters had set up a lone parent house search website. I also think the lone parents organisation gingerbread may have a site as well for house share searches. Sorry I don't have the links for either of those .

Best wishes for your search.
