Could do with some advice.

Have you done it now?

I've submitted an emergency application C100 for a Prohibited Steps Order. I asked for an urgent hearing same day (ex Parte- no notice to the other party) and I obtained the Order I wanted. If you haven't already done it I'm happy to offer some advice to help...

Thanks starlight. It's tomorrow. I just hope for my boys sake the Judge will allow it to be heard as an emergency!

I have, it was heard on the same day (had to wait around ages) but I got the emergency order. It was then extended after a short time (about 10 days) when the judge heard from my ex in the hearing that was arranged during my emergency one.

It was very simple not all all scary, the judge almost fell over himself to make it easy for me to engage with the process and even instructed the court office to notify certain places almost instantly in order to stop the thing I was asking him to rule on happening (it was actually in the process of happening)

I've got it!
So happy! Just need to serve it now. It's a prohibited steps order. Do I serve the c100 on him too or will the court do that? I only ask because the c100 has my address on and I also submitted a c8! Just realised I shouldn't have put my address in the c100 should I??

Well done! Have they listed a full hearing date? What about his school did you discuss that?

Usually they tell you that you need to serve the order and the application (including the c8) on the other party within 48 hrs. You shouldn't have put your address on the C100 but I'd just blank it out with black marker.

He has 48hrs to dispute it. Then it will be seen at the end if the month and a date set for hearing.
