After a year of ex being unemployed he's finally got a job! I've been on my arse financially since he lost his job last year, it's the worst I've been since he left 6 yrs ago and I am sooooooooo relieved.

On the plus side my budgeting skills are now very finely tuned Smile so hopefully it won't be too long til I dig myself out of debt (again).

That takes the pressure off a bit doesn't it. Hope your debts are cleared before long.

I'd actually had to talk to my childminder last week & explain how I'd have to stop using her, and I've had to cancel holiday childcare, because tax credits dropped (again) and after school care ramped up their prices. I've been using CM for almost 9 years, and DD was gutted, so we have a reprieve on that for now. I've changed car, cut off internet & phone line, and mastered the art of making food last as long as possible. It's been shit tbh but if he sticks with this then it gives us some breathing space and a fighting chance of clearing my debts.

So yup a massive weight liftedSmile

That's brilliant.

My ex recently got a job. But because he's a useless bastard, he got laid off again Hmm Never mind though, I'm used to managing alone. Bloody good job one of us is intelligent.

Opps, sorry....mini rant Blush
