Hmm, don't remember being asked about my pension when on benefits. I wasn't contributing at the time though.

Just wondering if any of you have set up a pension plan. I've been trying to find out if this can affect means-tested benefits at all. I am on income support, and may be for quite a long time. If I was to set up a pension (privately obviously as I'm not employed) would this count as savings/capital? As I know when you have a certain amount of capital this is taken off your benefits.
