Returning to the UK

Hello, Having lived abroad for the past 10 years and not in the UK for more than a year as an adult……..I am now moving back with my kids (6 & 8) to start afresh! I am hoping that by joining Mumsnet, I will garner advice and support from those who have experienced similar changes in their lives. I am basically starting afresh….home, job, car, schools etc. A tad daunting but also exciting! Has anyone been in the same situation? Anything from good second hand furniture to local schools.
