thanks ohdearspareheadtwo- i will email her (in bexhill
cool, thanks for that. i did spot that nursery too, actually the schools seem fine to me much better than hastings where i was going to move to....the high school has its own nursery and it got all 'good' ratings from oftsted, and would be walkable from north sidley.am feeling more and more ok with the idea, our local butcher even gave it the thumbs up as his son went to the high school and he rated it good.i think more young families are moving there now cos of house prices..which is great.
I work in Bexhill sometimes, and it's not all old people, don't worry!
Although most of the older people there are lovely.
My friend's DD goes to the nursery near Edgerton Park, next to the museum. She researched them all and is quite particular about that sort of thing so I guess it's a good one, and closer to Sidley than Little Common. It's only a 5 min walk from the town centre so easy to get to on the bus.
JacquelineHyde lives in Bexhill - you could PM her, she has little ones.
I think the reputation of Bexhill as God's waiting room is unfair, there seems to be plenty of young families
ps best nursery seems to be the one in little common, bit of a treck but must be better than sidley sure start nursery?!
hi. i have a good opportunity to move to bexhill. i need to get out of a small village as im isolated and dont drive.i have 2.5 yr old.i am in social housing, and the roads that come up are north of sidley; paton / mount idol road, seem fine. im guessing the area is dominated by elderly people but i dont mind that. ! ther seems to be a good sized alottment scheme near there too. just concerned about nurseries /schools, and general education in area. ?
