Hi
I've just moved down to the Borders but am actually in Peebles
I couldn't find a separate local site so sorry for gatecrashing this one!
For anyone that is in Peebles, I'm just trying to find out if there are any mother and baby or toddler groups on? And any breastfeeding support groups at all?
I've a DS (almost 2) and am expecting DC2 mid-September so trying to find out as much info as possible just now
TIA
Hi.. I'm moving to Peebles in December and don't know anyone!! EEK! Any luck with toddler groups? I have a 1 year old and I've only found one playgroup at the church on Mondays. I'm really nervous about moving there and am trying to find out what's to do.
Hope you're enjoying your new life in Peebles
Hi deepbreaths - I've found a couple of more groups in Peebles - there's a Rhymetime on at the Burgh Hall on a Friday between 10-11 and another group on at the Old Parish Church on Tuesdays between 10-11, everyone I've met so far has been really friendly but TBH I haven't been out too much as DD was born just a couple of weeks ago so I've been struggling to get organised in the mornings
Hope your move in December goes smoothly and perhaps we'll meet at one of these groups
Congratulations! Not surprised you've not been out much! Thanks for the info.. glad you've met some friendly folk. I'm Getting excited about the move now. Enjoy your little one and yes maybe we'll bump into eachother at some point
I moved here just over a year ago and have a 1yo daughter. If you fancy coffee and a chat im home most wednesday's so you're more than welcome to pop over. It can be hard moving to a new area!
xx
