In April a lovely little shop opened on Sir Issac's Walk called Handmade High Street, it has lots of fabulous Handmade Gifts inc bags, candles, jewellery, bath products etc made entirely by British Artisans!

Ooh, if we're recommending, can I add Roo's baby shop on Short Wire street please. It's run by my friend and she sells really nice clothes, and beautiful rag quilts, taggies, sock monkeys and other gorgeous stuff that she makes herself.

ooh saggy I've been looking for a nice independent baby shop since I've moved to Colchester (the other one closed down). Does she sell toddler/children's clothes or just baby stuff?
