Seen your name pop up on a thread I was on recently, just wondering how you are?
SIL getting quite big, excited and nervous, and shes due after you, so was wondering how you were?
Thought I would make our local site look busy too
Congrats to your SIL, your brother and the rest! And happy birthday Beth!!
Oh wow, congratulations, and of course I love the name! Hope he's ok and he'll be home before you know it, make sure you get plenty of rest!
My SIL had a baby girl Beth at 4.26am on the 11th too!
Hey!
Adam was born on 11th June at 10:36am. He's in SCBU for about 2 weeks due to some breathing issues, but overall is doing fairly well!
Just got home today myself.
Hope your SIL is okay!
GOOD LUCK, SIL is being admitted today too!
Just got off the phone to her, she thinks her waters are leaking but shes at home now, if she has the baby in the next coming days I'll be wondering if your on the same ward as her!
Thanks Plum! And good luck to your SIL!!
Oh my SIL was down at hosp this morn she thought she was in Labour!
Bump
Just thought I would say good luck incase I forget or you don't get on, will watch out for your birth announcement!
11th June, plum!! Just about a week.
I have to go in the night before, which surprised me, but must have something to do with the diabetes and getting me started on their insulin and such.
Oh what date? Its always exciting when you have a date to work to!
I never forget going to hospital withdd1, day afterdue date and had high bp, and the midwife checked me etc,
went away and came back and said how about Thursday, dh and I looked at each other, and I was like "to come in have the baby",
I think she thought we were nuts, I walked accross the car park giggling, mix of nerves and excitment!
Well, its official. I will be delivering by CS next week!!!
Beautiful names, we have good taste!
Heh, plum. Never said I was original.
They are my ds and dd2's names!
If its a boy it will be Adam Jacob and if it is a girl it will Zoe...something, still working on a middle name!!
I think the final weeks are so difficult. I just wanted my baby and not to be pregnant anymore - I just got so impatient! It's so amazing though knowing that you're going to meet your bump. Have you decided on any names yet?
If it will help, I can tell you how horrible I feel!!
I'm going to remember this the next time I feel broody
I sure do!
I was there so late last Tuesday all the reception staff had gone home and I had to ring the next day to make my next appointment.
This week will probably be just as bad!
Oh no you have to go for your apps on a Tues to the metabolic clinic then,
its mayhem some afternoons I would have been there all afternoon,
once the nursery girl had to bring my dcs out to the waiting room as she was closing!
Yes, I am at the Royal! Had my tour last Tuesday week. Due to my diabetes I don't get a lot of options. It will either be a CS or natural, no birthing pool or anything!
Wow I'm sure your excited, are you going to the Royal? My SIL had her tour of the delivery suite the other night, she was all for natural water birth and no pain relief think shes having second thoughts now, they must have scared the crap out of her!
I'm fine enjoying all this sun we are getting and getting ready for the summer!
Hi Harleyd, this is quite a slow go area but if we make this into Tee2072's own personal birthing thread it night get quite busy!
Hey plumbum!! And harley!!!
Good thing this popped up in Active, or I never would have seen it!!
I'm okay. 37 weeks tomorrow. Ready to have this baby. I see OB tomorrow and based on last conversation 2 weeks ago, if baby is still measuring big (just above 95thcentile line) they'll schedule a C-section/induction for 10 days from now! So I will probably have a baby in about 2 weeks!!
How are you?
