Independent Midwife Recommendations for London NW London?

I am 8 weeks pregnant (first pregnancy) and I am very interested in finding an independent midwife who could work alongside the NHS.
I think I would like to have a hospital birth but am worried about getting lost in the NHS system and would like a combination of continuity of care and someone to act as advocate/support.
I would welcome suggestions of specific midwives and would love to hear peoples experience with an independent midwife.
