I wanted to pass on a heartfelt recommendation for the production of Cinderella on at the Tobacco Factory in Bristol this Christmas. I saw the play on .Saturday and it is easily the best kid's Christmas show that we have ever been to: great performances, funny, full of music, and no simpering Disney style heroine! It is being put on by Travelling Light Theatre, and they have such a good reputation here in Bristol for theatre for children. Go and see it if you can!

Travelling Light are fabulous
We saw Bob the Man On the Moon a while back and 3yo DS adored it. Great intro to theatre for pre-schoolers.
Yes, we saw Bob too - DS giggled himself silly at it! We also loved their show Boing! last year about the two boys who couldn't go to sleep on Christmas Eve - absolutely delightful! I hope that more people discover their work for children - they should be national treasures!
Would agree about Travelling Light.
Taking DD to see "Good Clown, Bad Clown" at Bristol Old Vic soon and hoping it will live up to "Boing".
