Hi, I'm sure this topic has come up elsewhere (and feel free to link to them) but I thought I'd start a new one. I'm a new Dad and will soon be at home with our daughter full time. DD currently goes to Waterbabies and baby sensory. What I'm looking for is some ideas for other baby and toddler groups/activities that are suitable for Dads. I find the idea of going to mums groups a bit daunting and would welcome getting in touch with other stay at home dads.

There is a really good toddler group for Dads in Fishponds and they meet on the first Saturday of the month in the church hall at the Baptist Church. They have bacon butties and newspapers for the dads, and fruit and juice for the toddlers. They do craft and have a story time and I believe that the dads sometimes have a curry night.

There is a group at Emmanuel Church in Westbury on Trym once a month and NCT do a monthly dad's meeting.

Good luck!
