We're back and we're better than ever!
Seriously, if anyone hasn't heard, HQ has relaunched their entire Local section.
I, your humble Tee, has been appointed as Local Editor for the site.
And I need you ::image of Tee pointing out of poster:: to help me out!
What can you do? Add entries. All sorts of entries. Events, toddler groups, that awesome cafe you found that not only allows breastfeeding but encourages it, anything and everything to help build up our local site as the go to place for what's happening and going on in Belfast.
I also need some Local Ambassadors! What's that? Well, that's someone who organizes a monthly meet up. Or goes out regularly as a rep of MN to review shops, cafes etc.
If you agree to be an LA, there will be perks! Not sure what yet, but they will exist. Most likely special discounts for places you review and things like that.
How else can you help?

Anyone?
Hello
Thanks, Tee, for taking on the job of editor.
Is there a facility for buying & selling on the local boards? I have a load of baby tat quality merchandise that I'll need to clear out shortly.
Hi West!
Yes, there is a classified section. Adding things is really easy so go for it!
Anyone else?
I know there are Belfast people on MN. We used to have such a good group. Where'd y'all go?!?!
::whistles::
La la la la....don't make me come over there...
Hi Tee!
Hi Squirted!
How are you?
Good thanks. You? I see you about On here often, but rarely speak up.
Not sure about your fb page, since it's my real name and photo!
I quite like walking about and wondering if other random people are on MN.
I think we also need some sort of notification thing that will pop up if someone posts on a TIO. Bit of a pain checking local sites now too as well!
Still, somewhere else for me to spend my time.
Have we anyone on the friendship bench? I haven't checked.
FFS. Local sites is on my TIO. I swear it wasn't earlier!
Not yet on Friendship Bench.
TIO was just added, so that's why you didn't realise! Stuff is going live all the time.
New threads should show up on your Active, as well.
Yes, the anonymous thing will be an issue with FB!
can I join the belfast crew?
I would say yes, based on your name.
Thanks tee!!
The co Antrim board is a bit slow.
I don't think Co Antrim has a Local Editor yet.
how about a knackered Jordanstown mum? id love a book club, anyone know of one?
Count me in! What do I have to do?
Hello Jordanstownmum and Trudywillcathymay!
Jordanstownmum, I've responded to your other thread.
Trudy, do you mean you want to be a Local Ambassador? That would be fab! As one you'll be able to get special discounts and things and write reviews and (I hope!) organize a monthly meet up!
PM if you want to know more!
BTW, apologies in the delay to adding stuff to our site. I've been ill this past week and had my mom in town! Also, remember that you can add things yourself!!
::Tee thinks she needs an '!' mark removal::
Tee, I would love to be an ambassador but I have very little spare time at the moment, and wouldn't want to let anybody down by not doing it properly - I'm very happy though to help out with meet-ups, or do other bits and pieces to get the Belfast board up and going. What about trying to get a first meet-up set-up and take it from there?
Another Belfast bod here. Would love to know if anyone knows of any good (non cliquey) (free or cheap) parent and baby groups in Belfast area?
Sorry, Trudy, some how I missed this!
HQ really would like meet ups run by LAs, but, obviously, if we want to just meet up, they aren't going to stop us!
I am totally swamped right now with work in general, so would you mind starting another thread and coordinating?
Hi Nyan. I may know of one it two, where do you live?
