Belgium meetup!

Porto, ruthchan, longtimeinbrussels, and the rest of you lot!

Any suggestions for a meetup? I'm in England 2-8 april, back in Belgium after that.

Anyone fancy meeting at the Sportoase/Funoase Leuven? I'll be there every morning apart from thursday for the second week of the school holidays as my girls are having swimming lessons.

Any day apart form 13th as I have to go to London for a meeting if the embassy in Paris sends my passport back in time!

I do hope you get your passport on time, it took a more then a month to reissue my dd1's passport this time last year! But that wasn't just the embassy's fault, TNT never left a note when it was delivered to my house and I had to track the passport down.

The 13th april is the tuesday I think?

Might be doable! There's no meetings planned that week yet, so will try to get some off....

That one you took me to was lovely! We tried to visit it at Xmas but it was closed and we ended up in Pizza Hut! Now that was rubbish

Hi everyone.
Thanks for the heads-up about this thread Belgo!
My two would love that play area. I'm up for meeting there. Not sure if I could make an evening or not. That depends on DH's schedule.

Hi all, I'm up for the soft play too! Keep me informed on a date!
My DS's birthday is 14th so don't know if I'll be busy then, although DH will be working so doubt it.

I haven't got a Boden handbag. How about we all have Stonemanor bags?

Report
belgo · 31/03/2010 14:58

thread here asking about belgian schools. I don't know much because my children are still young.

All my stone manor bags get used as bin bags; they happen to be the perfect size.

Carrefour bags?
Or Tesco 'bag for life'?

Report
belgo · 31/03/2010 18:53

seeing as I go to England the week before I will probably have loads of Sainsbury's bags.

Anyway bag or no bag I'm sure we'll find each other!

LPO met some of us before though? I think she just can't remember who is who.....I might be wrong. I will be looking harassed. I generally look harassed...I am dead disappointed that the Mother Renewal BCT course is all booked up as I want to learn some tips!

Hello LPO, I know who you are! You are my friend on Facebook if that helps (and my real initials are KWC).

Have neither a Boden handbag nor a Stonemanor bag. Can do a Carrefour bag though!

WorkshyLardyGutbucket - . The Bounty Hunter is supposed to be rubbish. And what's all this about you and Gerard Butler? What'll George say?

I'm a bit confused (doesn't take much!) about exactly what's being proposed. Will re-read the e-mails more carefully.

LPO I remember what the O stands for but not the L and P!

What is proposed:

wednesday 14 april meet up at the Funoase (in Sportoase complex, Philips site Leuven) 10am. Cost 6.50 euros per child ( I think accompanying adults are free) www.funoase.be/.

Evening meet up: need to decide date, time and place. Cinema or dinner? In Leuven or elsewhere?

L is for me, O you know, and P it for my DH.

I have met you all before but still have no idea how to link who you are to your names on here!
Wed 14th is good, it's my DS's 1st birthday, so what a treat for him!
