Oooo Ozziegirly Adelaide Hills eh? I can highly recommend it - although be careful where you buy, think very carefully about fire danger - it's the only thing that I don't like about being up here and would probably not bought our house if i'd been a bit more switched on (we are surrounded by native bushland - beautiful but hideously frightening on 40+ windy days).

Hi Claudia. We're looking at Coromandel East, Stirling, Bridgewater, Ironbank etc etc.

We have actually put an offer in on a place in Coromandel East - but I have a feeling they will reject us as we are right in the bottom of their price range.

We are the only offer so far though.

It is quite treey but it's on a mainish road and it has a dam - it doesn't feel like we would be too trapped there IYKWIM.

Adelaide has grown on us - we were having a wobble but a few things started going our way (DH got promoted, so did I, we started doing more stuff and making friends) and we realise that our lifestyle here is really good actually!

I am fine, not in too often these days, but pop in now and then to see what the Aussies are up to.

How are you?

Hi knotswapper, I'm fine, although my 4yr old is jumping up and down at my side yelling "I want the red leaaaad" and screeching, so not a brilliant start to the day.

Also dd2 has a gawd awful rash all over her, which I think may be related to her chicken pox jab last week but am not sure. She looks hideous poor darling.

And . . . (sorry but you did ask ) I have a sore throat.

Apart from that all fine. My folks are coming for a visit in 2 weeks time so I'm hanging out for a few days when they have the kids and I can slope off and sleep/go to the flicks/drink gin etc etc

LOL. Oh dear, I did ask indeed.

I hope you and DD are better soon and your folks give you plenty of rest and gin.
