In Singapore I can't find bras that fit or super king size duvet covers and table lamps are a rarity. Food wise I hanker after unsmoked bacon and a piece of topside. Mmmmmmm.

We have a British shop here in Brussels so can get MOST stuff we'd normally miss - included freshly baked pasties and pies and The Sunday papers WITH the supplements. But I do miss M&S, Next and Sainsbury with a passion. And proper Indian and Chinese takeaways - they have them here, but just don't taste the same. Oh - and fish and chips out of the paper sitting on the seafront.....

We were supposed to be getting a Boots in Bahrain but it's been stopped. Boo!

Also miss Homebase/B&Q would you believe?

has anyone ever tried www.myus.com??

Do you guys know if something like that existed for the UK? One could buy all UK stuff, then hv it shipped to where ever. Ahhh...bliss.

I miss Boots and Waitrose, I'm annoyed M&S doesn't ship abroad.

Living in the UK I miss from South Africa

Decent bread
Deodorant (weird, I know)

If I left the UK to go back to SA, I would miss washing powder. Washing powder in the UK is just better. I don't know why (a friend who works in the industry told me that there is a reason but I've forgotten).

I would also miss Waitrose.

REAL food (am from Malaysia) ooooh, I miss the food in Asia.

I have to shop in kids if I want clothes or shoes. So I mis the small sizes as well.

Can someone ship some hot weather over to the UK too?

Usually don't have any probs in France, e.g. tea is imported. I think now I would miss French food if I went back to UK. OTOH have invited French friends round for mulled wine and gingerbread next week and can't find black treacle ANYWHERE. Normally Carrefour stock it (at something crazy like 4 euros a tin) but all my "suppliers" have run out and I don't know how I'm going to make gingerbread without it!

department stores
M&S
Decent Pizza (peanut butter, mango chutney etc etc on top is NOT pizza!)
Ciabatta, Focaccia etc (doughy white, named as such and charged 4X usual price does not make it a ciabatta)
European cheeses (again cheddar labelled different varieties is still cheddar)
